Jarred LeBon
Lead Pastor
By God’s grace I was raised in a Christian home. When I was thirteen years old the Lord opened my eyes to see His holiness and my own sinfulness and need for a Savior. It was then that I turned from my sin and trusted by faith in the finished work and perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ alone. I married my wife, Jamie, in 2009 and the Lord has given us five beautiful children–Bethany, Aaron, Jordan, Ruth, and Anna. It is a great joy and privilege to serve as Pastor at New Journey Church as we seek to glorify God together.

Tyler Stynsberg
Associate Pastor
I grew up in Roseau, Minnesota. Through a loving local church family (First Baptist Church of Roseau) I experienced much discipleship from intentional, caring adults who desired to see young people passionately pursuing Christ and maturing in relationship with Him. I knew I wanted to provide that kind of intentional mentorship in the life of students one day myself. Feeling called into ministry, I pursued a B.A. degree in Youth Leadership with a minor in Biblical and Theological studies from Providence College in Otterburne, Manitoba. Currently, I am seeking a MDiv from Bethel Seminary.
God provided many opportunities to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in various youth ministry environments—small town, urban, camp, college, church, and parachurch—before bringing me to New Journey Church in the Fall of 2010. In 2015, Em became my beautiful wife and partner in ministry. Our First child, Juniper came into the world in May 2020.

John Rusten
Church Administrator
I live outside of Fosston with my wonderful wife Kristi, son Graeme, and Molly our dog. We were both born and raised in this area, and it truly is our home, in all facets of the word. We own and operate Rusten Grain Farms, P2P Ag, and Kristi teaches in the Fosston School District.
We previously spent a handful of years in the Moorhead area where I served as Executive Pastor at Ignite Church.
We love our local church, the opportunity to commit to her, and help to see her grow and flourish into all God is calling her to be, and to do.
